We use multiple shielding techniques to increase DC isolation over 1000
mega-ohms and to reduce inter winding capacitance below 0.005 picofarad.
Technically, transformers do not have direct current path between the
primary and secondary windings. Other commonly used transformers are
intended to convert the input voltage to a more useful level, even if they
have separate primary and secondary winding.
